The application form must be placed before the end of January of every year.

The application form can be placed only for children who turn three by 31st December of the previous year.

For enrolment in state schools , parents must place the application form by the above-indicated deadline, by filling in the appropriate form with self-certification backed by a valid document of identification - at the Secretary's office of the Institution to which the chosen school belongs.

The application form must be placed in only one Institute.

Priority of admittance will be given to pupils residing within the catchment area of the school where the application form has been placed.

The catchment areas can be looked up under street, square or school name of reference:
· in the " Approfondimenti " section of this page;
· at the Secretary's offices of the Institutes;
· at the Public Relations Office of the Commune (Piazza XXIV Maggio 1 ground floor - free phone 800 653413)
· at the School Services of the Commune (tel. +39 071 222 5016 - 5006);
· at the Nurseries.

For enrolment in a scuola paritaria (private school equal to state school) , the application form must be placed at the Secretary's office of the school itself.

The Secretary's offices of the following state Institutions or the Scuole paritarie are available to provide the information necessary also as regards canteen and transport services.
