The Immigrant Service Centre is an information and consultancy office which also deals with health assistance that is granted to foreigners living on the national territory and who are not in conformity to the law regarding admittance and residence permit. 

The immigrants without a residence permit or an expired residence permit have the right to enrol to the STP (Foreigners on a temporary stay) health assistance.

The enrolment to health assistance as STP can be carried out at the Health Departments.
The information required to obtain the enrolment are:  name, surname, date of birth, gender, nationality.

The immigrant is not obliged to show a document of identification, but it is sufficient to declare one's own identity.
The card for the extraordinary assistance for STP is valid for 6 months and it can be renewed and used all over the national territory.
