The educational-charitable welcoming centre community "l'Ancora " is a structure for minors and mothers with children in situations of social difficulty.

The community, for its small dimensions, has a typical family connotation with two functions: charitable and educational.

It provides:
• Care for minors
• Support and protection for minors
• Repatriation for minors, accommodation for minors in other families or communities,  the reuniting of minors with their families

L'Ancora is situated in a municipality-owned lodging. It offers accommodation for 7 residents and 2 semi-residents (day residency).
It is open 24 hours a day the whole year.

The duration of the hospitality does not exceed:
• 60 days in a row
The guaranteed services by L'Ancora are:
• Hotel services: cleaning, laundry and catering services
• Educational services which are based on the personal project written by professional educators for autonomy achievement, as well as, social life principles acquisition
• Professional social services: proceedings for social investigations and surveys, proceedings for the evaluation and assumption of situations, legal and administrative proceedings, planning of general projects for the individual.
• Sanitary service, with preventative interventions, medical assistance, pharmacology assistance

Requirements
People who can be received:
Italian minors and foreigners found by the police forces in the municipal territory in an abandonment state or in troubled situations or at serious risk;
