The Welcoming Centre called " Un Tetto per Tutti " (A home for everybody) is a public service free of charge which offers hospitality and assistance temporarily to people adult males without fixed address and/or stateless people or people who travelling in the municipal territory in serious social and home states.
They must have a valid identification card or regular residence permit.

The organization and the activities of the Centre are structured with special internal regulations which is signed by the guests when they enter the building as acceptance of rules which regulate life in the community.   

"Un Tetto per Tutti"   is situated in the "Ex-Benincasa" building in Via Flaminia n. 52 Ancona .

The service offers nightly hospitality from 18:00 until the following morning at 08:00.
Every absence must be justified, if not the beds will be assigned to another person.    

The Welcoming Centre "Un tetto per Tutti" intervenes by helping a person out of a difficult position i.e. serious social trouble, by providing temporary hospitality. 

Twenty persons can access in the Centre: they must be male, (Italians, community or extra-community persons with a residence permit) Maximum stay is 15 days. This cannot be repeated more than three times in the space of a year.

Inside the structure, at least five places are held for people who requesting political asylum. Access to these five places is authorized exclusively by the UTG (Ufficio Territoriale di Governo -Territorial Government Office) of the Prefecture of Ancona.

How these five places are managed and the services provided are established by agreements undersigned by the Municipality and the UTG of the Prefecture of Ancona.

Access to the centre is generally granted directly to the interested person on demand or through Servizio Sociale Professionale (Professional Social Service), by the Pronto Intervento Sociale (Social Intervention) or by the FF.OO (Police Forces).

A person personally requesting entrance to the Centre must present the entry demand to the Centre staff from Monday to Sunday from 18:00 to 20:00.

In situations in which the person is directed to the Professional Social Service by the Social Intervention or by the FF.OO., when there is a place available, a place is booked in the Centre.

When entry is granted, the person must present a valid identification card.

For cases of particular urgency and social marginalization, it is possible that the person without a valid identification card will, despite this irregularity, be welcomed is directed to the Centre by the   Questura (Police Headquarters) of Ancona or by the Comando dei Carabinieri.

The Welcoming Centre offers services in order to guarantee the person a nightly refuge including:
1)   dinner and first breakfast services;
2)   bedroom, bathroom and commons cleaning;
3)   linen changing.

Inside the Centre, in addition to the auxiliary staff, there are 2 operators who alternate in the functions of:
• guest welcoming and check out services;
• explanation and affirmation of  the internal regulations.

Additionally in this structure, a social assistant whose task is supervising, coordinating and managing the organization of the hospitality activities and maintaining links with the social services of the Municipality of Ancona, the Social Services and the FF.OO.
