Two Social Promotion Offices have been opened in the Commune of Ancona:  one can be found at the Social Department " Piano San Lazzaro " and the other at the Social Department " Centro ".

The office is at the citizen's service for:
- information,
- guidance for social and welfare services,
- support for specific needs of various types of social hardships and exigencies.

The social secretariat services are carried out by a social assistant.

The Social Promotion Offices have the following branches:
