The Commune of Ancona issues an electronic Identity Card only for resident citizens.

How to obtain this service
Foreigners who are in the phase of the first issuing need to have a passport and a stay permit.
For the renewal it is sufficient to exhibit the expired Identity card and the stay permit.
For foreign citizens the Identity Card is always and in any case not valid for expatriation.

Requirements
Be a resident in the Commune and be 15 years old.

Costs
The cost for the issuing of the identity card is Euro 25.42.

No passport photos are necessary, since they will be taken at the moment with a digital camera.
The validity of the issued document
The Identity Card is valid for five years from the date of issuing and can be renewed six months before its expiry date.
Time for document release
Immediate issuing
